I AM LUCKY I HAVE RICH PARENTS, IF NOT I WOULD HAVE BEEN BANKRUPT LONG AGO

Growing up, I had a privileged childhood; my parents had deep pockets and an even deeper desire to make sure I had everything I wanted. I was spoiled in the sense that I was able to get whatever I wanted, and I was never told ‘no’.

This led me to develop a sense of entitlement, and I eventually found myself in a situation where I thought I could do whatever I wanted, with no repercussions.

Squandered away a lot of money to failed businesses, drinking and gambling

When I was in my 20s, I decided to try my hand at businesses as I did not want to work for people. I had no idea what I was doing and I invested a lot of money into a venture thinking that it would work.

I was too naive and inexperienced to understand the risks, and the venture quickly went south.

After that, I tried my hand in other ventures and was sure it would work but time and time again, I kept failing and failing.

I also made friends who were only there with me because they thought I was successful due to the image that I portrayed.

We spent a lot of time drinking and even gambling and before I knew it, I was in debt and I had no idea what to do.

Luckily, my parents stepped in and bailed me out

Fortunately, my parents stepped in and bailed me out. They paid off all of my debts and gave me some money to restart my life.

I knew that without their help, I would have been bankrupt and in a much worse situation.

I have to admit, I was extremely lucky that I had rich parents who paid off my debts from my failed businesses and my lifestyle of drinking and gambling with bad friends, or else I would have been bankrupt long ago.
