Belly fuel of cigarettes.

Vigilant ICA officers have uncovered 2,235 cartons of duty-unpaid cigarettes at Tuas checkpoint on 26 Sep. The duty-unpaid cigarettes were found hidden in a secret compartment of a modified fuel bowser attached to an arriving Malaysia-registered prime mover.
The method of concealment is a cause of concern as it may be used by persons with ill intent to smuggle security items into Singapore.
The case has been handed over to Singapore Customs for further investigations.
