IKEA BASKET ALLEDGELY INFESTED WITH BUGS, WOMAN GOES BACK IKEA TO PROVE IT

IKEA is a global home furnishings retailer that offers a wide range of well-designed, functional home furnishing products at affordable prices.

A woman who bought 6 baskets from Ikea claimed that the baskets she bought were infested with bugs and she call IKEA.

She recorded a video alleging that the customer service on the phone told her that the bugs were from her home and not Ikea.

She decided to take a trip back to Ikea to prove her point by going to the same baskets and hitting it till the bugs fall on the floor.

How did IKEA respond?

She posted a second video on Tiktok of IKEA’s customer service email response.

The email wrote: “It is unlikely that this incident is related with the product itself”

TODAY news reported the item in question is no longer being sold at its physical or online stores.

This has been verified by searching their website, which returns no results for “KNIPSA.” The company is also conducting an internal investigation and seeking assistance from product developers at IKEA Sweden. In regards to the customer who experienced an issue with the product, IKEA Singapore has offered them a gift card for future purchases and encouraged any other customers who are dissatisfied with the baskets to contact the company.
