
According to a media release, the Ministry of Manpower has banned 140 individuals from working in Singapore after breaking the rules in regards to the circuit breaker.
These work passes were revoked between 01 May 2020 to 25 Jun 2020
42 out of the 140 individuals got their work passes revoked after they were found breaching their quarantine order. The remaining of the 98 individuals got their work passes revoked after they were caught meeting another person outside their household during the circuit breaker.
They were caught at locations such as:
- Dormitories
- Private residential areas
- East Coast Park
- Robertson Quay
6 out of the 7 FT involved in the Robertson Quay incident were included in the 140 individuals who got their work pass revoked.
The Ministry of Manpower see take this matter very seriously, they would not hesitate to revoke any work passes if any of these foreigners working in Singapore broke the law.
