Facebook user Darren posted and shared about how he bought a water heater from a seller on Shopee, and the installer didn’t fix the shower head properly.
The heater was leaking profusely every time he turns it on, and when the installer came back down to fix the problem, he allegedly told the man “if I have to come back again, it would be $60.”
However, despite the installer’s attempts to fix the water heater, it is continuing to leak water.

I bought a heater with installation from Shopee. The company or seller is chinmega.sg. The installer failed to fix the shower head the first time he came and his attitude was deplorable and rude. I decided to let it pass.
The second time he came down to rectify the problem by fixing the shower head, he was even more arrogant and told me if he has to come again, he would charge me $60?!?!
As it stands, the heater is leaking A LOT every time I use it. I have taken a video of it. I have also taken a screenshot of it.
I’m definitely NOT going to pay $60 for the rude installer to return and I’m really fed up with him. Obviously, he was scheming for a third trip to get that extra $60.
The cost of the heater is $69. The installation cost was $95. The total cost was $169. Obviously, it wasn’t installed properly.
The heater shouldn’t be leaking like that! It is the first time I have faced so many issues with this product. A full refund is in order here.
However, in the refund request, Shopee states that I have to return the product for a refund!?!? Don’t they realise the product here is not a toy or video game. It is an electricial product which requires installation and proper expertise to handle.
