Here is the story
I said that “lust” was my biggest weakness in a job interview.
Yup – believe it or not, I really said that in my first job interview when I was 17 years old.
I was applying for a part-time job working at an electronic shop that sells gadgets and IT stuff, and was beyond nervous at the time.
During the interview, the manager asked me all the usual questions until we arrived to, of course, the world-famous question: “What are your weaknesses?”
Now of course, she meant “work-related weaknesses”, but in that moment, I thought she could’ve been referring to personal weaknesses.
They had talked about my beliefs in the interview a couple times up to this point, and seeing as I was trying to be honest, I totally thought they were asking questions to get to know me better as a person.
“What are your weaknesses?” The manager asked me. I sat on it for a second, and seeing as I was somebody who started watching adult videos at a young age, I responded with, “Lust.”
Believe it or not, I DID receive the job. I was also remembered as the “lust boy” for quite a while.
Don’t be like me. Don’t be like “Lust Boy”.
