A netizen has shared on Facebook an incident he witness when he went to buy breakfast at a Koufu outlet at Yew Tee Point this morning (5 Oct).
Apparently, there was an elderly uncle who refused to scan the safe entry check in and just made his way into the outlet, ignoring the Koufu staff who chased him to ask him to follow the procedures.
The staff, who is an auntie, could not do anything in the end as she was afraid that the uncle would turn aggressive.
The netizen wonders if there is any way to deal with irresponsible people like the uncle, who refuses to comply with the proper procedures in place.
He also mentioned that the Uncle’s actions will endanger the public in the instance that he is positive or close contact with a positive case, he would not be traceable due to him not checking him.
He ends off by asking if Koufu staff can be empowered to refuse selling him any food for refusal to follow the proper safe entry procedures.
