IS OUR FOOD IN SINGAPORE CONTAINING TOO MUCH MSG?? HERE HOW TO DEAL WITH IT!

Having gastric issue I’ve been there. I came to SG one year back and I gained 10kgs in 1 year and have had severe issues with my stomach. I went back after a year. The issue is all the MSG that’s added in the food in SG. And if you’re going to say no they don’t add MSG, that’s a whole load of crap right there.

Most food courts, where you get an affordable meal are using MSG. This is going to make you gain weight, bloat up, slow down your metabolism and I totally feel you on this issue. Your situation can be changed. One, you need to start exercising a lot. Two, eat regular small high fibre meals, salads and fruits.

Three, cut down on carbs. Four, cut down on anything that has emulsifiers in it. Five, boil fennel seed powder and drink a cup of that everyday empty stomach (unless you’re allergic to it then don’t. Six, yogurt and yakult (unless you’re allergic to that too). Seven, oats and milk (unless you’re allergic to this as well). Consume a lot of soluble fibres and less carbs.

Cut down on things that will make you feel gassy or are too spicy. It will take a year to normalise. Also if you are having a high protein diet, a fault may be there are well. If you are, hope you’re really working out. Rest is a lot about understanding what suits you and doesn’t. Sometimes lentils, beans like fava, edamame etc are not digested easily.

Hope this helps and you feel better soon.
