Since entering Syria 3 years ago, the Singaporean fighter is believe to be fighting on its front line for the terror group Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) who recent spearhead a propaganda video for them.
It is reported that the Ministry of Home Affairs has said on Tuesday that Megat Shahdan Abdul Samad, 39, was injured in combat and was positioned to zones in Iraq and Syria.
He is the third known Singaporean to have link himself to the ISIS in Syria and Iraq.
Haja Fakkurudeen Usman Ali and Maimunah Abdul Kadir which are the other two, are alleged to be stagnant in Syria with their relatives.
With their participation in an external armed war endangers Singapore’s security.
For Shahdan’s case, he not only engaging in combat but also actively trying to recruit other thru the violent ideology of ISIS
