
A multi-agency law enforcement operation lasting 1 weeks were conducted by several law enforcement agencies including Jurong Police Station, Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB), Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) & Singapore Customs.
The 1 week operation arrested 156 individuals for various kinds of offences.

The Police said that the areas raided included:
- Jurong West
- Tuas
- Choa Chu Kang
- Bukit Panjang
- Bukit Batok

The operation was conducted on March 24 till the last day of the month lasting a week which lead to the arrest of 132 men and 24 women aged between 17 and 81.
Among those that were arrested, 41 men and 4 women are suspected of prostitution, drugs, traffic, and secret society-related activities and are currently under investigation.Â
44 men and 2 women were arrested under the gambling act. Law enforcement officers also seized about SGD$4,400 and gambling equipment.

Another 24 men and 11 women were arrested on suspicion of running errands and loan scam.
The authorities also believe that 18 men and 7 women were involved in 54 e-commerce fraud and commercial crimes involving more than S$374,000.
The remaining five men were arrested under customs and immigration laws. The authorities also seized 27 packs of tobacco and more than one carton of contraband cigarettes.
