A Japanese restaurant in Chinatown, Sake Labo, is giving out free food to those who are “poor and hungry”.
The restaurant, located along Stanley Street, is trying to help out the needy, with a sign being placed at their entrance.
The sign says:
“If you are poor and hungry, we give free food (lunch only). Come in and ask our friendly staff for a bowl of hot udon.
If you know anyone in the area going hungry, do ask them to come by Sake Labo for a free bowl of hot udon, no strings attached.”
Much respect to this conscietious restaurant for doing their part to help the less fortunate.
They are located at 29 Stanley Street (Singapore 068738), and they are open from Mondays to Fridays at 12pm to 2.30pm, and then from 5pm to 10.30pm.
They are also open on Saturdays from 5pm to 10.30pm, and closed on Sundays.
