A video emerged online showing a woman jaywalking across a busy road, and ending up getting run over by a motorcycle.
The video was posted by Facebook page Quotigo on 18 June.
The woman was seen in the video dashing across the road without looking towards the direction where traffic was coming.
And by the time she noticed the motorcycle coming towards her, it was too late – the motorcyclist couldn’t stop in time as well as the woman had abruptly dashed across the road.
She ended up being flung in the air and being flipped 360 degrees, before landing on her head, on the ground.
Persons caught jaywalking can be fined $50 on the spot. They can also be charged and fined up to $1,000, or jailed up to three months. Repeat offenders may be fined up to $2,000 or jailed up to six months.

- Let this serve as a warning to all who always jaywalking. You’re not only endangering your own life but also fellow motorists on the road. Use the traffic lights for goodness sake
