Singaproean driver Naz Bart Morningstar shared on Facebook how he was chased by an unknown car in Johor Bahru while driving alone at night on 7 November.
The incident happened on 7 November at the Highway Iskandar Puteri from Tuas heading towards JB Sentral, at about 12.07am.
While he was being chased, he called he cousin in JB to tell him about his situation, and his cousin told him not to stop as this was “not an ordinary speed chase”, and that the criminals “are trying any kinds of tactics to make you stop and you know what comes next”.
Naz noticed that the unknown car had about 3 people inside, and he was outnumbered 3 to 1. He said that he tried to evade them and sped as much as he could to avoid the assailants while remaining calm and driving steadily.
His cousin told him to drive to the police station but he doesn’t know where it is so he proceeded to drive to meet his cousin at a coffeeshop with high human traffic.
The assailants then abandoned their chase and gave up eventually, exiting through one of the side roads.
Here is what he said (SIC)
