35-year-old PRC national, Zheng Xianfeng, was charged with murder today (18th Feb) after murdering 34-year-old Malaysia, Tham Mee Yoke at Block 308 Jurong East Street 32.

Zheng was arrested for his “suspected involvement in the murder” and it is believed that they were ex-lovers.
It was not the first time that Zheng caused hurt to Tham as he was also charged with voluntarily causing hurt to her with a penknife on Nov 17 last year at Block 349 Jurong East Ave 1.
If Zheng is found guilty of murder, he will be sentenced to the death penalty.
