SFA said on Facebook (Aug 1):

Jurong Fishery Port (JFP) reopened yesterday and tenants are making arrangements to resume wholesale market operations on 2 Aug.

Two rounds of deep cleaning of the entire JFP site had been done prior to the reopening on 31 Jul.

We also briefed the tenants today on JFP’s enhanced safe management measures (SMMs) and we are heartened that they all understood the need for the enhanced measures so that JFP can continue to operate smoothly.

As tenants and trade visitors adapt and adjust to the enhanced SMMs, there may be initial issues and delays and we will work closely with trade associations, tenants and workers to review and finetune the processes where necessary. Together with the industry, we will continue working hard to ensure a resilient supply of food for all!
