Keppel reported to close three yards and downsize by more than 2000 staffs.Singapore’s Keppel Offshore & Marine has reveal in full year results that it in the midst of shutting down three of its yards in Singapoe while freezing its two overseas yards.

It was not know which three yards would be closing but it is confirm overseas yards are frozen in Indonesia and Brazil.Not only the yard capacity is reduced, Keppel is cutting down the manpower by at least 2000 workers and a cut of 11%. External subcontract are also scale down by additional 3,300.
