Recently along Granges Ave, some police officers had a heartwarming experience when they were called to help an elderly man in need.
The elderly man, who was in his late 70s, had gone out for a ride on his electric scooter and had become stranded when the scooter ran out of battery. He was unable to move the scooter himself and had no one to help him.
The kindness of the officers were captured in a video.
When the police officers arrived, they were moved by the elderly man’s plight. Instead of simply towing the scooter away, they decided to help him get home. The officers gently lifted the scooter onto their shoulders and then slowly pushed the elderly man back to his home.
The elderly man was surprised and grateful for the kindness of the police officers and thanked them profusely.
The police officers were happy to have been able to help the elderly man in his time of need. Despite their busy schedules and strict job descriptions, they had taken the time to treat the elderly man with kindness and respect.
