A Facebook user has shared a heartwarming incident that happened to him while he was boarding a bus.
According to his post, he was rushing out to retrieve a personal item and he left his house without putting a mask on. When he was boarding the bus, the bus captain noticed that he was not wearing a mask. The bus captain then gave him a mask to put on before boarding the bus.
The man was touched by the gesture and decided to write a post to thanks the bus captain.
In his Post:
“This evening at about 8.50 pm I was rushing from the bus stop at Blk 129 AMK Ave 3 to AMK Ave 10 to retrieve a personal item that I had dropped there. In my hurry, I simply forgot to put on my mask when I went out. This bus captain who noticed I was not wearing a mask highlighted it to me. I was shocked to hear his remark and apologised to him and told him I was in a hurry that’s why I had forgotten to put on my mask. I told him I will go back home to get one. Upon hearing my plight he offered me one of his personal spare masks. I am so touched by his kindness and generosity that is why I wanted to publish this story to express my heartfelt thanks to him. I hope he or someone in SBS Transit will see my story and convey my thanks to him.
