A Singaporean man shared his story on Facebook of him helping a needy family in Singapore.
According to him, he had recently helped a family who is going through a difficult time due to the pandemic. He even urged those in needs to contact him if they need help. However, a simple assessment is required before the aid is dispersed.

In his post:
“A needy family received our aid contribution recently during the current Covid-19 pandemic downturn. The breadwinner is only working on a part-time basis and struggle to put food on the table for his stay-home wife and three kids
They live in a 2-room rental flat at a north-eastern area.
We also provided a $100 angpow cash donation to the family and help to pay off $300 of the S&C default bill of $1000 plus. Failure to pay prolonged S&C bill can land the homeowner in jail.
If you are facing a tough period, please let us know so we can send you some grocery aid. It may not be a lot but will probably last a week or two. The items will include basic grocery stuff such as rice, Maggi noodles, canned food, coffee, toiletries, mask, sanitizer among others.
A simple assessment is necessary before we can disperse the aid.
Let us reach out to one another during this tough economic downturn.
No one should be left behind.”
