KWAN IM TEMPLE AT WATERLOO STREET REMOVES ODD-EVEN NRIC ENTRY

The Kwan Im Thong Hood Cho Temple at Waterloo Street has recently announced that it will be doing away with the Odd-Even NRIC Entry system come 25 Feb 2022.

This is after the authorities have announced the easing of pandemic measures.

However, visitors to the temple will still have to abide with other rules still in place such as the wearing of masks and checking in with SafeEntry before they enter the temple.

Previous NRIC entry rules

Previously, the temple had an odd-even NRIC entry rule.

The rule implies that those with NRICs ending with an even number are only allowed to enter the temple on even days of the week such as Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

Those with NRICs ending with an odd number will only be allowed entry on odd days of the week such as Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

These will all come to an end come 25 Feb 2022.

Operating hours

The Kwan Im Thong Hood Cho Temple’s operating hours are from 7am-6.30pm on Mondays to Saturdays and it is not opened on Sundays and Public Holidays.
