LAWRENCE WONG: COVID PANDEMIC COULD LAST FOR UP TO 5 YEARS

Minister Lawrence Wong recently stated that it could take at least four or five years before the world sees the end of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Wong also said on how the world would encounter many issues along the way pertaining to how the crisis is being handled.

Though the Covid-19 vaccines have been created and many countries have started to vaccinate their people, getting the whole world vaccinated will not be a quick nor easy task.

“The rules around wearing of masks, upholding of safe distancing measures, and avoiding crowded places – these will continue to be part of everyday life,” Wong stated.
