The lorry then hit and damaged the pipes on the ceiling, before being stuck on the spot and being unable to move.

The driver was also seen gesturing towards the vehicle(s) behind, and the video also showed photos of the damaged pipes and signs.

The incident happened at a multi storey carpark at 109 Bidadari Park Drive, and the height limit of the carpark is 2.15 metres.

Netizens’ comments

  1. Height barriers are put at the entrance for a reason. This one will incur a hefty fine from HDB and a big bill for repairs
  2. the entry barriers are not always set correctly often lower than the signed height limit, particularly in HDB car parks. its better to know yr height and trust in the signage.
  3. This guy should try going to Golden Mile Complex.
  4. This lorry driver really underestimated the height of the multi storey carpark which he thinks that his rear cargo is less than 2.15m which resulted in damaging the pipes and signs above him.
  5. Wah… luckily not water pipe burst…
