I made a call to the LTA at 759am today regarding illegal parking of many tour buses along Short Street! (See photo attached of my call log) Actually I call the LTA every morning regarding this issue because the buses always block the car park entrance of my building Golden Wall Centre! After 15 mins still no actions taken as all tour buses are still around! I then went to a nearby coffee shop for breakfast.
That was when I spotted a LTA officer sleeping under a shelter behind Blk 9 Selegie Road. (See photos attached time duration from 815-816am) after which I made another call at 816am reporting the same parking issues and at the same time the complain of the sleeping LTA officer. Guess what? The sleeping officer came within minutes to fulfill his suppose duties! Real suprise as this is the 1st time they reacted so fast!
Last time I call for immediate action from the LTA, they always reply that officer can only arrive 30-45 mins later. Now I know the real reason why is this so! The LTA are really wasting the tax payers money and also not providing their best service back to the society! This is a real disgrace to a FINE country like Singapore! This is a tourist area with Park Soverign Hotel and Village Hotel round the corner. What if tourists from other countries capture this scene instead of me?
