
A netizen shared how her maid’s agency asked her whether the maid used phone during work.
She said that as an employer, she doesn’t understand why maids are treated differently.
She likens it to us using our phones at work, taking 15 minutes breaks, and that maids are humans too.
She said that she wants employers to treat employees the same as how you want people to treat you.

“I don’t understand the fact that the maid agency asked me whether the domestic helper did use phone during work.
Me as an employer does not matter whether she use phone, I’m sure she have the mature mindset to prioritize work before use hp.
The fact that I don’t understand was why treat the domestic helper indifferently. Isn’t we the same use hp at work, sometimes we take 15 mins break. I mean domestic helper and employer are human being. Obviously when we work we sometimes need to have a break before continuing work again right.
The reason that I’m posting this is to put awareness to those employers to treat your employees the same as how you want people to treat you. Don’t ever treat your employees as a robot.”
