Sandar Aye, 33, a domestic helper who was hired to take care of a 92-year-old woman with mild dementia, forcibly pushed the elderly lady against a wall where she hit her head.

Aye then yanked her up by the arm and slapped her several times, before lying to the lady’s son that she had fallen at home. She then told the police that the elderly lady had pushed her first.
Aye, a Myanmar national, was sentenced to three years jail earlier today (August 13).
The assault left the victim bedridden, although she later died from unrelated causes.
