A maid took to Facebook to ask for advice on how to deal with her employers whom she described as hurting her emotionally as a result of their mood swings.
She added that she cleans a 5-storey house by herself and the work is neverending, and the only time she gets rest is during her meal times, which she sometimes skip because she is too tired to even eat.
Here is what she said
How to deal with employers who have mood swings…
and very particular with house cleaning. FYI
I work in 5 storey house (alone) . a lot of work and it is never-ending work. start at 5.30 am finish at 10.30- 11 pm, the only time for rest is only when I’m having breakfast, lunch (sometimes 4 pm because of work) and Dinner (which sometimes I skip because too tired to even want to eat)
I’m going to finish my contract soon.
because of their mood swing, I’m having a hard time deciding whether to continue or not.
I wish I could continue working with them but I know I need to have a strong mentality and a big heart to do that.
I want to ask for a transfer but I’m afraid they will get hurt by the reason i give.
before working with this current employer, i have work for 15 years with my former employer, taking care of their elderly parents until both passed away.
They said they were very nice people (I agree) but many times they hurt me emotionally.
for almost 2 years I cry a lot. working with them is like riding a roller coaster.
