As confusing as the title sounds, this is a case of two maids who are working in Singapore and also in a relationship.
44-year-old Calastre Elena Canto thinks that her girlfriend (who is also a maid) has a secret handphone that is used to hide things from her. Calastre confronted her girlfriend by slapping her in the face and threatening her with a knife.
Calastre took a knife from her employers home and went to confront her girlfriend at Hougang.
The incident happened outside the victim’s employer’s home and she was slapped twice and threatened with a knife, the victim scream for help and a passer-by intervene.
But Calastre told the man off saying that it is not his business, the man called the Police and shortly after Calastre was placed under arrest.
She was eventually found guilty for criminal intimidation which is a crime that can be jailed for up to 2 years once found guilty. Calastre was jailed for 3 months.
