A reader hired a maid who endangered the life of her son by putting detergent in his water bottle. Although the employer had been patient with her and warned her many times, she has done so many things to harm her family that she now fears for her family’s lives.
The reader said that within the first week of working for her, she discovered that the maid wanted to go back home even though she has an outstanding loan here. In the subsequent days she worked for her, the maid tried all ways and means to make her employer angry. She claims that the maid seems to be trying to make her angry and see whether she will beat her, which she will then use as an excuse to demand compensation or threaten her employer to let her go back to Indonesia without paying off the loan.
Our reader thinks that some colleagues that the maid met during her training may have taught her how to scam and cheat her way out of her loans.
