Man, 42, Taken To Hospital Following Incident At Lavender Building After Reported Dispute

A 42-year-old man was taken to hospital on the morning of Jul. 11 following an incident at a commercial building along Lavender Street.

The case, which is currently under investigation, drew a significant emergency response, with multiple police vehicles seen at the scene as officers conducted inquiries,  Shin Min Daily News reported.

The incident reportedly occurred at CT Hub 2, a mixed-use development located in the Lavender area.

Witnesses Report Hearing Disturbance

According to accounts from individuals working nearby, a commotion was heard from within a nightlife establishment before emergency services arrived.

A staff member from a neighbouring coffee shop told reporters that she heard a woman crying and shouting during what appeared to be an argument inside the premises.

Shortly afterwards, police and paramedics were seen responding to the situation.

Police And SCDF Responded To Scene

The Singapore Police Force confirmed that it received a call for assistance at Block 114 Lavender Street at approximately 9:35am.

Authorities have not released further details regarding the circumstances leading up to the incident, but confirmed that investigations remain ongoing.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said it was alerted to the case at around 9:40am and subsequently conveyed one person to Tan Tock Seng Hospital for medical attention.

Reporters who visited the location observed a sizeable police presence, with officers carrying out investigations around the building.
