
A 33-year-old man was arrested on 27 April for allegedly attacking a woman with a knife at a coffeeshop at Block 155 Bukit Batok Street 11.
The alleged attacker and his victim are believed to have known each other and had a dispute prior to the incident.
He attacked the victim, a 35-year-old woman at the coffeeshop.
The victim suffered injuries on her hand and neck area, and she was conveyed to the hospital conscious.
The Singapore Police established his identity through ground enquiries and the use of CCTV images, and officers from Jurong Police Division and Woodlands Police Division arrested him on the same day within 4 hours of being alerted to the case.
The police were alerted to the incident on 27 April at around 4.25pm.
He is due to be charged in court tomorrow (29 April) with voluntarily causing hurt with a dangerous weapon, under Section 324 of the Penal Code.
