A netizen shared that his fishing rod was allegedly broken by a cyclist who had cycled onto it, before running away.
The incident happened on Saturday (4 June) at about 8.36pm, at a fishing spot at Bedok Jetty.
Cycled onto his fishing rod
The netizen was with his friend fishing and they were packing up to leave, when the man wearing a red shirt and jeans cycled past them.
He had cycled onto their fishing rod and broke it in half, as the netizen and his friend look at the cyclist, stunned.
Fled the scene
The cyclist looked back at them and didn’t do or say anything, before cycling off; and the netizen and his friend then gave chase to confront him.
However, they presumably couldn’t catch up to him and the guy just cycles away.

“At 8:36 pm bedok jetty saturday ,4 june man in a red shirt and long jeans broke my fishing rod.
when we were packing to go home he just cycled trough without seeing my rod breaking it in half
me and my friend was stunned, we looked at him and he looked us back , he dint do anything he just ran off , i was pissed so i went back confronting the guy and he just ran away. (SIC)”
