A Facebook user, Muhammad Max, shared how he ordered $137 worth of food via Grabfood and allegedly had his 39,000 Grab points deducted.
He said that he reached out to Grab support for help and they told him that they can’t do anything, and would have to escalate the issue.
Two days passed and he still didn’t receive any emails from Grab.
Here is what he said
Dearest Grab,
I ordered food via your app recently. Costs $137 and some change. I noticed the option to use some of my GRAB points to offset this cost. 39,000 points for $78, to be exact. Noticed, and contemplated, but at the end of the day decided to just keep my points.
Grab,
You charged my card the full sum of $137 and some change for the food. And you also deducted my 39,000 points.

I raised this issue via your Chat With A Grab specialist. My Q number was #39. So I left my phone on my dashboard and went on my merry way while waiting for the 38 people to settle their issues.

I waited almost 45 minutes before it was my turn, and your Grab Support Specialist ended the chat because I hadn’t responded to the chat within 1 minute.

I had to start queuing again, and this time I was #28 in line. I again waited, but this time I waited 25 minutes. Or should I say, wasted 25 minutes, staring at my phone and keeping the screen on by swiping every minute, because apparently your support specialists had no problems making us wait 45 minutes, but couldn’t wait a minute for us to respond.

I finally got Rizza online, but upon showing all my screenshot and evidences, told me they couldn’t do anything but had to escalate this issue.
