MAN ALLEGEDLY RAN KTV WITHOUT LICENSE AT INDUSTRIAL AREA

Lee Bing Qian, 31-years-old, was charged with providing public entertainment without a license, as well as an offence under the Covid-19 (Temporary Measures) Act.

He had allegedly ran a KTV outlet without a license at an industrial building during the Covid-19 outbreak.

He is also being accused or supplying alcoholic drinks without a license at the said KTV outlet.

He operated the unlicensed KTV at the Empire Technocentre building in Kaki Bukit Road, on the 6th floor.

He had allegedly failed to ensure that the unit remained closed to anyone at around 1.30am on 7 May.

15 people were found inside when the premises were checked by the authorities.
