A man in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, was allegedly stabbed in the chest with a screwdriver while driving on the road, according to Oriental Daily.
He then lost control of his car before crashing on a street, ultimately succumbing to his injuries and dying despite the best efforts of passers-by who tried to save him.
Allegations have been going around claiming that he was allegedly stabbed in the chest by his girlfriend, whom he was purportedly having a fight with at the time.
Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
Oriental Daily reported that the incident took place on 27 January near the Century Garden in Johor Bahru, and the victim was driving a black car at the time when he suddenly crashed after losing control of the vehicle.
The traffic was rather busy at the time of the accident, and passers-by rushed over to the crashed car and found the man with serious injuries as they called emergency services for help.
The police were also on site after that.
Oriental Daily reported that a netizen who claimed to be a witness to the incident, said that he was at a restaurant in the vicinity when the crash happened.
He said that he saw the victim almost hitting a motorcycle.
It was also claimed that he had quarrelled with his girlfriend who then used a screwdriver to stab him in the chest, resulting in him losing control of the car.
Speculation has been rife but at the time of writing, no concrete evidence has surfaced yet, and the police are currently investigating.
