A video emerged online showing an elderly man armed with a stick (or what appears to be a walking stick) and swinging it at cars turning out of a carpark.
The incident happened on 15 March along Geylang Road, at the exit of a carpark at Tanjong Katong Comples, and was captured by a passenger inside one of the cars turning out of the carpark at the time.
According to the netizen, the man was seen swinging the stick at cars that were turning out of the carpark, and warned other drivers to be wary of him and not to provoke him any further.
A few netizens also commented and surmised that the man might have been frustrated at the traffic because he could be trying to cross the road at the time but couldn’t.

Netizens’ comments
- He was trying to cross the road, but too much traffic and looks like he’s frustrated. If there’s lift for the overhead bridge most likely he’ll use it. Poster should be more empathetic and be kind.
- Soon more mad people around, cant cope with rising prices.
- Respawn in wrong area
