A 52-year old man was arrested after he threw a mahjong table down from the 12th floor of a HDB located at Block 58 Chai Chee Drive.

The incident happened on the evening of 01 Aug 2020. The police were alerted and the man was taken away in an ambulance under Section 7 of the Mental Health (Care and Treatment) Act.
According to residents, the mahjong table belongs to a female resident staying on the 12th floor. The table was placed outside her unit which was used for gathering purposes only. On the day of the incident, the man who is her neighbour threw the table down the HBD for no reason.
