A 36-year-old man was reportedly arrested by the police for his suspected involvement of causing hurt to others with a dangerous weapon.

It was reported that the incident happened on 05 Jan 2021 at 4.15 pm along Geylang Road. It was said that the accused had slashed an unknown man with a knife and the victim was later conveyed to the hospital.
After investigations, the police managed to identify the identity of the accused and arrested by the police on 07 Jan 2021.
The accused has been charged in court.
According to the law, anyone convicted of causing hurt to others with a dangerous weapon could be jailed up to seven years or fined or caned, or any combination of such punishment.
