A fight broke out between two men inside an MRT, involving an elderly man and another middle-aged man.
The elderly man (who was seated) was purportedly unhappy with the man (who was standing) because the latter’s music on his earpiece was too loud.
A fight then ensued between the two, with the middle-aged man throwing punches at the elderly man, who retaliated by kicking out at him and knocking him down.
A fellow commuter then told the old man to sit on the opposite seat away from the man as the other commuters tried to break up and fight and de-escalate the situation.
The incident took place in the MRT at Ang Mo Kio MRT Station.
