Worst Hailing App in Singapore
- for bad MAP update
- for over deductions on credit card
On last Thursday 30/2024
Use ZIG app to get taxi at noon
Assigned with a car that will arrive in 5mins at fixed fare of sgd12.70
Next message is my taxi got cancelled, indicate searching for next available taxi
The ZIG app got freeze no response at all
Next I received an SMS from my DBS bank indicate unauthorized deductions , to call bank hotline.

I immediately call bank hotline and told there are 20times deductions from ZIG app of sgd 254.00
I instructed the bank to cancel the amounts
My bank advice to cancely.credit card and got it replaced the same nite via courier to my home
I have my credit card info removed from ZIG app to prevent further unauthorized deductions
After finish my afternoon meeting which I arrive late due to handling the above issues
I call my bank hotline to be assured that my money are intact in my credit card
AFTERNOTE:
- I try to call ZIG hotline , no one pick up
- I have wrote compliant to their FB message, till today no bother to response
- I do not trust ZIG app with my credit card or pay forwards info any longer
What is your similar experience, please comment so this taxi hailing company will wake up to address tis real problem, instead of keeping quiet or no reply to complains.
