According to a media release, a man has been caught shoplifting on CCTV on multiple occasions at Angel Supermart located at Block 110 Yishun Ring Road.
The man was first caught on the CCTV for stealing a can of beer on the 20 Apr 2020. When confronted by the Supermart employees, the man denied that he had committed a theft. He then left the Supermart quickly.
After the man left, the employee checked the CCTV and confirmed that the man had lied. He was seen stealing a can of beer from the CCTV footage. A police report has been made the following day in regards to the incident. The Supermart had printed out a poster of the man and banned him from the Supermart.
However, this did not stop the man from coming to the supermart and commit another 2 thefts. The second theft happened on the 12 Jun 2020 when we also caught stealing a loaf of bread placed outside of the Supermart. The third time happened yesterday (21 Jun), the man was caught stealing ice cream from the freezer outside of the shop.
The man action has been recorded by the CCTVs placed inside and outside of the Supermart. The Supermart has again reported the man to the police in regards to the series of shop thefts the man committed.
