The man, wearing a white shirt in the video, was seen talking on the phone as he walked past the table where the iPhone was left.
He appeared to be going towards the toilet, before immediately turning around after allegedly seeing the phone’s owner leaving the table.
He then walked back to the table and took the phone, before walking away while admiring his loot, and he then walked back towards the direction of the toilet.
The person who was filming the CCTV footage, pointed out how the owner was right there in the vicinity, probably less than 20 metres away, but the man still dared to steal from him.
He was seen in another angle walking into the toilet after stealing the phone.

The offense of theft under Section 379 of the Penal Code, Chapter 224 carries a jail term of up to 3 years, or a fine, or both.
