MAN CAUGHT STEALING APPLES FROM ALTAR, WENT BACK & PRAY BEFORE STEALING AGAIN

A man was caught on CCTV stealing apples from a Chinese prayer altar, the video was dated on 11 September 2022 at around 1.05 AM.

The man was seen removing an apple and coming back about 2 minutes later and he prayed towards to altar as a sign of respect before taking the rest of the apples.

Apple looted = 5 pieces.

  • I was told by my BIL it’s okay to take the offerings from an altar or set aside on the street. As long as you are respectful about it. However , don’t be surprised if the food is somewhat tasteless. Apparently according to Taoist belief, the essence of the food is consumed by the entities hence only the solid food remains.
