
According to a media release, a 37-year-old man was arrested for his suspected involvement in a case of rash act causing hurt and a drug-related offence.

The incident happened on the 12 Aug 2020. The police were conducting a check on the man along Bukit Merah Lane. During the check, the man was not willing to cooperate with the police.
The man then drove his car toward 2 police officers who were handling his case before driving off. In the process, one of the police officers was injured.
The man will be charged with rash act causing hurt. If convicted, the man could face a jail term up to 12 months, fined up to $5,000 or both.
