A 59-year-old man was charged in court on 31 Dec 2020 with attempted murder of a 48-year-old woman. The incident was reportedly happened between 29 Dec 2020 to 30 Dec 2020 at a unit of Tanamera Crest condominium.

It was reported that the man had strangled and slashed the victim with a knife. The police were alerted to the case on 30 Dec 2020 around 8 am. Upon police arrival, the victim was found laying on the ground outside the apartment.
The man was arrested on the scene and the victim was conveyed to the hospital for further treatment.
If convicted, the man could be jailed up to 20 years and fined.
