My dad almost died today and no one helped
My dad was eating a steak dinner alone while at work. My dad needs new dentures so chewing tougher food can be a challenge sometimes.
This resulted in him choking on a piece of steak in the middle of a restaurant.
My dad is not one to ever want attention drawn to him but he knew his time was limited and he stood up with his hand around his throat and pointed to people trying to get help.
Out of over 10 people there, no one helped. They watched my dad suffer and just ate their food.
Thankfully after almost a minute, he was able to dislodge the chunk of meat himself. He was so upset and scared he just left the restaurant.
Wtf is wrong with people. A man almost died in front of you people and you did nothing but eat your fucking dinner. Didn’t even ask if he was okay after he could breathe again.
People suck.
