Guy’s just wanted to share something that I came across today morning at Tuas Checkpoint!!Last month 27th my auto pass card was not detected and my exit was not cleared( I remember I went to the counter during the exit and the lady at the counter checked my card n told me everything is ok no issue I can go out)
But on the 1st of Dec my card shows ” Transaction Error” and they charged me for 2 days!!!(Even after I told them I have already go to office and cleared my exit )Today morning while entering the checkpoint my auto pass again showed ” Transaction Error” and I have to go LTA Office.
The officer in charged checked my card n told me that I need to pay $15 due to my exit was not cleared on 1st of Dec. WTH, I remembered on the 1st of Dec I paid $29.50 for the same fish reason!!! The LTA Lady ask me to show the receipt for proof!!! Come on When on the earth do we kept any receipts with us??? So, I told him I don’t have any receipt and request her to checked again on her system.
Then she told me my 1st Dec was not cleared and I need to pay $15 to clear it. But Thank god, I remembered I have paid them using my Nets Card and immediately logon to my POSB Online Banking and showed them the transaction. Then she called up another guy n then told them and after that she cleared my exit and apologize for the error!!!
The reason I wrote this is to alert everyone that either u kept the receipt that you pay or you pay by NETS so that in case anything u can show them. For me even though its just $15 it’s not fair and why do we have to pay for some other people’s mistake???
