A man posted a series on photos onto his Instagram Stories, claiming that he was banned from Tampines Bus Interchange for two months until 30 July 2022.
He wrote on his Instagram Stories: “rip i got banned from tamp int for 2 months till 30 jul 2022 :(“
Among the photos that he posted was an SBS Transit bus with a pink sticker pasted on it’s front left bumper and a photo of the man holding on to a bunch of stickers.
His post appeared to be suggesting that he was banned from the bus interchange for pasting the sticker on the buses.
A netizen commented on his post and said that the guy is always at Punggol Interchange and one of his colleagues caught him pasting the sticker onto one of the buses.
He added that the man is apparently autistic and they are not sure if any actions will be taken against him.
SBS Transit responds
Grace Wu, the Vice President (Special Grade) of Corporate Communications at SBS Transit, said that the post is not true, and that it is impossible to impose an entry ban on the interchange, which is an open public area with many entry points.
