I have read a lot of people are unhappy with the recent service of McDonald’s. Let me share with u what happened this morning at the Bukit Panjang Plaza outlet.
I ordered breakfast which had two drinks- I told the cashier orange juice and coffee, she keyed in milk and coffee, I told her she said she would get it changed. After that when I collected it, I didn’t see what drinks as it was all wrapped up and I trusted she did it correctly because this is the basic trust I should give them
However, when I reached back I realised she gave me 2 coffee instead of my 1 orange juice and one coffee I wanted. ( to those who would say I should check before I go – are u saying I shouldn’t trust that they have packed and made sure it’s correct?) ( I don’t need smart Alec giving nonsense replies hence if you have nothing intelligent to say don’t say) . I called the outlet, they didn’t pick up, check my call log, I called 13 times.
Then I msg their HQ “ business consultant” this guy is a real empty promiser. The reason I know him was because of the numerous failed service standards this outlet has given me – he has always sung the apology song without any sincerity so many apologies till it can form a song.
Today- he did the same and sang the apology song without even understanding that things should be done to improve the outlet by changing the restaurant manager. He never realised that. I have given him also numerous suggestions but never once did he listen and always takes me for a fool. And today his staff who made the mistake, really made everyone look like a fool.
I have always told the business consultant that his outlet can never be compared to another outlet that I always frequent instead of working harder to not lose out to the outlet I always compliment him- he just doesn’t care and has no pride in improvement.
