A video emerged online showing a man jaywalking across the road and pointing a middle finger at the driver of an oncoming car, who captured the incident on their dashcam.
According to the netizen who shared the video, the incident happened at Bukit Panjang on 30 June at about 6.15pm along Petir Road, at a traffic junction right outside Hillion Mall in Bukit Panjang.
The man in question was seen holding on to another woman’s hand and dashing across the road right as the traffic light turned red for the pedestrians to stop crossing.
The camcar was trying to make a turn at the time but had to stop because of the jaywalking couple, and the man then decided to taunt the driver.
As the jaywalking pair neared the other side of the road, the man then raised his right hand and gestured towards the camcar driver.
Following that, he then pointed his middle finger at the driver as they finally reached the other side of the road, further taunting the camcar driver.

- Maybe it’s time to look into implementing underground passing, so that pedestrain can cross whenever they want, wherever they want, however they want without waiting for traffic lights and getting knock down by vehicles.
