A family consisting of a man and his loved ones consumed a bag of fried salted egg fish skin.
As they prepared to serve the pieces with rice, they discovered an unexpected item in the bag, which was later identified as a deep-fried gecko. They were taken aback by this revolting find.
According to Shin Min Daily News, the 53-year-old man bought the salted egg fish skin snack online.
When he was about to finish the bag of snacks he thought of pouring the flavour powder onto some rice to eat it as he do not want to waste it.
But to his horror he found a lizard in the bag, the man had to throw away his rice and said that the incident has scarred him.
He told Shin Min Daily News that he do not dare to eat fried food snacks as it will remind him of the incident.
The incident has caused a stir among customers who are now concerned about the quality of food they are buying.
Previously, another famous salted egg snack brand Irvin’s also faced the same issue of lizards in the snacks

The Singapore Food Agency (SFA) caught wind of the incident and inspected the factory but they found no signs of infestation.
They remind all food manufacturers to keep their premises clean and pest free.
